How do I set browser cookies?

Simple! Check the browser and version you're using, then follow the instructions below:

For Internet Explorer 5:

  1. On the Menu Bar, select Tools then click Internet Options.
  2. From the popup window, select the Security tab then click the Custom Level button.
  3. Scroll until you get to the section that says Allow per-session [not stored].
  4. Select Enable and press OK.
  5. When asked, Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone? click Yes.

For Internet Explorer 6:
  1. On the Menu Bar, select Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  2. From the popup window, select the Privacy tab.
  3. Within the Setting section of the tab, move the slider to Medium to select the privacy setting for the Internet zone.

For Netscape 4.x Users
  1. On the Menu Bar, select Edit, and then click Preferences.
  2. From the popup window in the left menu selection, click Advanced.
  3. On the bottom right, select the option box that says Accept all Cookies.
  4. Click OK.

For Netscape 6.x Users
  1. On the Menu Bar, select Edit, and then click Preferences.
  2. From the popup window, in the left menu selection, click Advanced.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Cookies.
  5. Click on Enable Cookies for the originating Web site only.
